What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Naturopathic Medicine (ND) is the use of safe and effective natural treatment modalities. Naturopathic doctors are specialists in natural medicine and preventative medicine. N.D.'s use nutrition, botanical medicines, acupuncture and homeopathy to help people overcome illness and prevent disease.

The Naturopathic physician's primary purpose is to prevent disease, promote health and restore, maintain and optimize health and well-being through individualized patient care and public education.
